Occasionally customers will have trouble installing their Rapidsite / Customer Street site software which is used for making changes to your Customer Street website. If you are installing the software for the first time you may come across the error message “Object reference not set to an instance of an object”.
If you are getting this error message it’s quite likely you have a firewall or antivirus protection preventing the software from running correctly on your pc. To overcome the problem with this error message you need to disable your Anti-virus software / Firewall on your pc. This should allow you to continue with the installation of the software and once complete then remember to reactivate your anti virus software / firewall to ensure that your computer remains protected.
